What if the stillness you've been seeking has been hiding inside of you all along?

You know that feeling: when the world gets quiet for just a moment. When your breath slows, your shoulders drop, and something inside of you exhales.

That place exists inside of you, always. Not as something you need to reach, create or deserve, but as your own true nature, waiting beneath the noise.

This Stillness Meditation is a guided journey into that place, using practices from two of the world's oldest wisdom lineages. You don't need experience. You don't need to be able to quiet your mind. Just press play.

What you'll experience

  1. The Warrior Gaze

An ancient Taoist warrior technique that signals safety to your nervous system before you even close your eyes.

  2. The Inner Smile

A practice from Taoist inner alchemy, said to awaken the pituitary and pineal glands through a smile that begins in your dream body.

  3. Body scan & tension release

A deep somatic journey through the body, breathing out tension from the kidneys and everywhere else.

  4. Stillness of the body

Let your awareness sink below thought, below effort, below doing, into the natural stillness of your body.

  5. Silence of the breath

Release the 84,000 thoughts, the stories and the voices, and discover the silence that is always beneath them.

  6. Spaciousness of the heart and mind

Open your heart like a flower, let old pain and stories go on the out-breath, and arrive in the clear openness of your own being.

  7. Jing, Chi & Shen

The three treasures of Taoist inner alchemy, your physical life force, your heart energy and your spirit, gently awakened.

Two ancient lineages, one journey

This meditation draws from two of the most powerful, and least known, wisdom traditions on Earth. Hira weaves them into a single, unified practice.

Mount Kailash, Tibet

The Bön Buddhist tradition

One of the oldest unbroken spiritual lineages, born in the sacred landscape of Tibet around Mount Kailash, a mountain considered the axis of the world by four religions. Its teachings on the true nature of mind are not a practice of effort or striving, but of recognising what you already are.

Kunlun Mountains, China

The Nai Dan Kung lineage

Known today as Neidan or inner alchemy, this tradition from the Kunlun Mountains shaped what we now call the Tao. It works with the body's three treasures, Jing, Chi and Shen, through awareness, breath, movement and guidance of the inner life force.

This meditation is for you if…

  • you carry tension in your body that doesn't shift, however much you rest
  • you've been told to quiet your mind, found it impossible, and want a different approach
  • you meditate regularly and want to go deeper than apps or generic guided sessions
  • you're drawn to ancient wisdom traditions but haven't found an accessible way in
  • you're a healer, therapist or practitioner looking to deepen your own inner resources
  • you want to rest, truly rest, in a way that nourishes you all the way through
  • you're going through stress, burnout, grief or disconnection and need to come home to yourself

About the practice

  • Format: MP3 download
  • Length: 28 minutes
  • Music: original frequency music by Leo Melcherts, composed for each stage of the journey
  • Language: English
  • Suitable for: everyone, from beginners to experienced meditators

“This is not a meditation you do once and forget. Many people return to it again and again, because each time you drop a little deeper, and your own true nature feels a little more familiar.”

The frequency music

The music in the Stillness Meditation is not background music. It is a frequency landscape that Leo composed specifically for this journey.

Leo works with sound as a medium of transformation, using specific frequencies, harmonic resonance and intentional composition to support the states Hira's guidance opens. Music and meditation are designed as one field, so that even in the moments of silence, the sound keeps holding you.

Leo Melcherts

Composer, producer and sound healer

Leo has always known that music, frequency and vibration have the power to heal. After years as a media composer and sound designer, and a decade producing transformative electronic music as True Identity, he was deeply moved during an Ayahuasca ceremony with Shipibo shamans, when a female shaman sang to him. He felt how intention, pitch and vibration set energy flowing. Since then he has devoted his work to music and frequencies that support wellbeing, self-love, awareness and freedom.

Questions

Do I need experience with meditation?

Not at all. The Warrior Gaze at the start is designed to settle your nervous system and bring you into presence before any inner practice begins. If you can breathe, you can do this.

What is the Bön tradition?

One of the oldest surviving spiritual lineages in the world, originating in Tibet and deeply connected to Mount Kailash. It sees stillness, silence and spaciousness as the natural resting state of human consciousness.

What is frequency music?

Music composed with close attention to the vibrational qualities of tones and harmonics, and their effect on consciousness. Rather than creating a pleasant atmosphere, Leo's compositions are intentional sonic fields that support specific meditative states.

How long is the meditation?

About 28 minutes: a complete, unhurried journey that still fits into your day.

Can I use it if I have trauma or anxiety?

The meditation is gentle and somatic, and works with whatever arises. It never asks you to dig into trauma or push through anything; it simply makes space for release. If you are working with significant trauma, we recommend exploring it alongside a qualified therapist.
